A modular sofa for a room with changing uses
Share
Choose a modular sofa by the layouts you can actually build, not only by the flexibility suggested in a photograph.
Plan the layout and dimensions
Sketch the room in its present use and in one realistic alternative, such as a combined work and living space. Identify which modules could change position in each arrangement. Compare end units, corners and middle sections, including finished sides and connectors. A module that looks freestanding may still require connection to another part.
Check everyday use before ordering
Check whether the desired layouts are supported by the same range and whether the pieces remain stable as instructed. Think about where unused modules would go during a change. Keep assembly information with your room plan. If adding sections later is part of the decision, confirm current options while recognising that future availability of the range or fabric is not guaranteed.
