A corner sofa in a room with two entrances
Share
When a living room has two entrances, a corner sofa must fit both the seating area and the route through the room.
Plan the layout and dimensions
Draw the two doorways and mark their full opening arcs. Connect the entrances with the route people normally use, then try the sofa footprint on either side of that line. Compare both arm lengths and use the product diagram to identify left and right orientation. The longer return is not automatically best against the longest wall.
Check everyday use before ordering
Test access to each seat, especially the inner corner. Put the coffee table into the plan and check that it does not force every person through a narrow gap. For a sleeper model, repeat the test with the sleeping surface extended. If neither orientation leaves a workable route, compare a straight sofa with an armchair or a shorter modular arrangement before ordering.
